The minute you set out on tour you’re up close with the wild. See how the orang hutans are rehabilitated before being set free in the jungle. Go on an overland trip, cruise on the Menanggol River in search for the unique Proboscis monkey, hornbills, kingfishers. Cruise further on the Oxbow Lakes to the riverrine forest to catch the Oriental Darter, Storm’s stork, various Hornbills, Kingfishers and other wildlife and birds. Explore the Gomantong cave, the home of bats and swiflets. Later visit the Puj Jih Sih Temple, 300 meters above the sea. See colourful carvings and have a commanding view of the Sandakan Bay.
